Reason I Chose These Photos

I chose these specific images because it illustrates what the poem, The River Merchant's Wife: A Letter, is about. I chose the picture above because they are young teenagers getting married. They look around the age of fourteen or fifteen. It may look strange today, but back then, this image was quite common.
